You could try moving the ball back further in your stance, like just off your front hip.
Make sure you are setting up corretly and it might help
to turn your head slightly to the right so that your head is
over your rear knee.
The NG swing is very ellliptical in shape so you might
be coming at the ball in too steep an angle. Just take your
hands back to about shoulder height and as close to your
shoulder as you can get it. Then simply sweep the ball off the tee. If you are playing the ball that far forward you should try teeing it up higher as at that point in your swing the clubhead should be coming up.
Make no conscious movement with your body as the movement of your arms should cause your body to react.
