You are absolutely correct. Of course there is some corruption. There always is anytime you have someone handling someone elses money or property. Who hasn't swipe a pen or pencil and took it home from work? Perhaps the little bit of corruption that takes place at the higher level amounts to a little more than pencil stealing, however, I bet that the cost of raising so much hell and accusing everyone and his brother about it is not worth the damage it does to the county. I am sorry but I think that the powers in Port Moresby are only one step up from the tribal chiefs in diplomacy. Some one on here recently mentioned that eveytime the tried to put a saw mill or other small business in the villages, jealousy between the tribal chiefs destroyed the business. Isn't this exactly what is happening in Port Moresby? The same kind of jealously among the national leaders from different tribes continues. Until the chosen leaders of PNG mature and learn to behave things will never change.

"Re: Topaz Posting from WF"
They need to knock off this nonsense. I've seen time and time again that there are constant inuendos
and allegations of corruption against our leaders and in almost every case, including heavily publicised
Muja sefa tapes and Father Lak trial, there has not been produced one shred of undeniable evidence in
the end.

The lack of evidence shows there could be very little corruption in PNG but a lot of mudslinging and
talking about it in hopes of scoring some political points against enemies.

The corruption level is very low. There is nothing that has appeared on the internet and the newspapers
which can be considered irrefutable evidence.

Gutpela tru yu bin againsim dispela suspicious character.
