The case backlog is due to the slowdown of cases heard, not just a growing number of cases. If he couldn't handle it we should have heard him and seen him lobbying parliament and the public for more judges in lower courts. He could have also been demanding more training for the lower court judges so that so much wasnt appealed to the supreme court. He has done none of these things and until recently he has hardly ever appeared in the newspaper. I would vote alongside my brothers and sisters that he is derelict in his duty. Maybe bringing this out is what has caused him to be more active. If thats true then this was a wortwhile exercise wasnt it?
