There are serious factual inconsistencies with what you have written.

"1. Security: The United States funds a military that polices the entire globe. The Pacific has always been one of the highest priorities to America. They operate the Seventh Fleet which is by far the most powerful and expensive grouping of weaponry the World has ever seen. The Seventh Fleet is located in the Pacific. America has been and hopefully always will be the major deterrent against an Indonesian invasion. So it could be argued that PNG would have become nothing more then a part of the state of Indonesia if not for the United States and namely their relationship to the ANZAC treaty." Wrong.

US has not been a deterrant to Indonesia invading PNG. The US has traditionally been Indonesia's strongest military backer, beefing it up as a strong US ally in Asia especially during the cold war. The US was also Indonesia's strongest backer when it moved to annex West Papua, all part of the infamous 'Brunker Plan' which saw US assist Indonesia territorially, economically and militarily in return for Indonesia's commitment to remain a bastion against Communism's spread in Asia.

Also, it is not the ANZAC treaty. It is the ANSZUS treaty, a mutual defence treaty involving US, Australia and New Zealand.

"2. Financial: America is the majority supplier of the funding for organizations like the IMF so that they have the ability to bale out financially mismanaged countries like PNG." America is not the majority supplier. Japan, Germany, UK, France and the other G7 nations are all considerable contributors to the IMF. Also, the IMF does "bale" out the economies, but its help has strict and painful conditions which see the economies 'being liberalised', tarrifs being removed, and changes being made which clear barriers to American trade with these nations and further solidify America's dominance in world trade and the status quo.

"Final thoughts: The lack of direct financial aid and investment by America and American companies is a litmus test to the state of the management of that country. A highly corrupt country like PNG will not receive very much direct aid or investment because Americans ultimately must answer to the tax payers or share holders that have a direct stake in the policy decisions of the country as a whole or as a corporation. So if you're not getting as much aid from America as you believe you deserve then the responsibility falls back on the citizens of PNG and their representatives to make a country that becomes more desirable for a Nation like America to aid or to invest in. Take away America and we have chaos in the world. The presence of America is, in most cases, the only reason why small defenseless countries like PNG can exist."
Bullshit!! America is the king of pragmatism. It only helps when it is in its political and economic interests to do.

The American Government was the strongest military and economic backer of one of the most corrupt regimes the world has ever seen, Suhartoe's regime in Indonesia, for nearly three decades. Corruption, graft, mismanagement, tyranny, human rights abuses and environmental abuse did not stop American companies from investing en masse in Indonesia, one needs to look at the ecological, cultural and human rights travesty that is the Free Port Mine in West Papua, a province of Indonesia, and which is owned by New Orleans based Freeport McMoran. Litmus test, my ass!!!

One needs not mention the United States backing of the Marcos regime in the Phillippines, and its arming of Sadam Hussain. The US backed Marcos to keep Phillipines as an ally and to keep its giant Subic Bay military base. THe US backed and built up Sadam as a counter against Ayatollah Kohmeini's Iran.

You want to talk about corruption, maybe you should talk about America's role in the wars, poverty and economic inequity that racks the world today. Millions have died around the world from wars that the US was involved in either directly or indirectly. The US has created weapons that may one day spell the end of the world as we know it. Half of our island and our people and their resources live in servitude of another people, another regime, all because of America.

Go preach your Uncle Sam propaganda elsewhere!! Or if you want to preach it here, try to use facts instead of bull shit!!
