Maybe we shouldn't be getting assistance from other countries. Such assistance has only made us dependent on you and others. That dependency destroys our self reliance. Destroyed self reliance destroys pride. People with no self reliance and no pride turn into beggars. We in PNG have become a beggar nation, like many other developing nations.
