I read this forum every day and have never responded to it but this time I have had it.

So you want to cuss the Americans for not being the first ones to arrive at Aitape tsunami? While you're at it tell us that the food and clothing that was collected by The American Veterans of Foreign Wars and sent there courtesy of the United States Navy at my request was not welcome. Write a letter to the State Department and bitch at them for being so late and tell them that if that is the best they can do then stay the hell home. In the letter also tell them that the people of PNG will no longer rush to the assistance of any American diasters too like you have in the past. That should scare them really bad. You ungrateful Bastard!!!!!!! You are the problem with PNG. The world could give you the clothes off their backs and you would complain that there wasn't enough loose change in the pants pocket. Thank God I know first hand the people in New Guinea are actually friendly people. If I felt that they were all like you I would start a letter writing campaign to black list the place. I am printing this posting and e-mailing my fellow VFW members to show them how you feel about things. All you are doing is bitching about how things are in New Guinea. Tell us what you yourself have done personally to make the conditions better.
