I don't have any answers but some ideas.

First and most important thing is that if people become aware of where the road they're following is going to lead to, they will be more observent and attentive to preventing bad results from coming and affecting their people. Right now, nearly every single Papua New Guinean, including the leaders themselves, seems unaware of the road we're headed down.

Second thing is that much of the money people are making right now is wasted. It doesn't lead to any development at all, just more nonsense. So if we can get people to be more thoughtful of how they use their money, and the money is used more efficiently, then there wouldn't be so much pressure to destroy everything.
