BECAUSE? THEY HAVE VERY LITTLE ACCOUNTABILITY TO ANYONE ELSE. THE PEOPLE ABOVE THEM DON'T ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS, DON'T PUT ON THE RIGHT KIND OF PRESSURE (ISN'T THE ONLY PRESSURE THESE DAYS POLITICAL?), AND LARGELY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL THOSE PEOPLE DO OR SUPPOSED TO DO.

BECAUSE? GOOD LEADERS AREN'T ALWAYS EDUCATED, AND EDUCATION CAN ONLY GO SO FAR TO MAKE GOOD LEADERS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE STARTING WITH THE WRONG RAW MATERIAL. MAYBE PERSONALITY DOESN'T COME INTO PLAY ENOUGH IN SELECTION. MAYBE THERE AREN'T ENOUGH PEOPLE IN THE POTENTIAL APPLICANTS POOL WITH THE RIGHT COMBINATION OF PERSONALITY+EDUCATION+EXPERIENCE.

BECAUSE? IT'S SHORTTERM THINKING. THE SPARE F28 ENGINE WAS SOLD THE MOMENT THE FIRST CASH CRUNCH CAME BECAUSE NO ONE REALISED HOW THAT SPARE ENGINE WAS CONTRIBUTING DIRECTLY TO CASH FLOW. ISN'T SHORTTERM THINKING SAMTING BILONG PLANTI YUMI? HOW DO YOU GET AROUND OUR CULTURAL BACKGROUND?

I THINK YOU WOULD SEE ONE SACKING AFTER ANOTHER. WHO SAYS THE EMPLOYEES WON'T BE POLITICAL. HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW MANY VILLAGE RUN OR VILLAGE BASED ENTERPRISES HAVE COLLAPSED BECAUSE OF THE SAME POLITICS. PEOPLE CONSTANTLY CUT THEIR OWN THROATS.
