Youre explanation was most refreshing indeed. The impact of the kaukau is indeed an interesting theory as to the tribal fights now unoffically "wars". I wonder if the government has ever considered studying this social problem rather than relying on the enforcement agencies to quel it everytie it flares up.

Onga yes now I recall and indeed a dynamic leader, peace maker too I would presume. Onga and Sir Wamp Nga are possibly the great leaders ever to live in the highlanders. But today our brothers up there would rather talk about the Wingtis, the Mels, Poras etc,.
