Subject: Gerry Corcoran -- BU out of the Running?
Rivals lists Providence, UNC-Wilmington, Massachusetts as schools in the running. Previously I thought someone said he verballed early to BU. Anyone with inside info?

I was told be a few people at an NU function over the weekend that he was going to BU, and it was somewhat of a done deal as long as he plays well in prep school.
Saw some HS coaches from Eastern Mass this weekend at a tournament and they indicated that he was an AE talent, not much higher
I can't see him playing at Providence or UMass.

That's what he is quoted as saying in the Rivals article. Another guy who wants to go to the highest conference possible, whether he gets any PT or not.
BU may have a hard time getting him to keep his commitment. Good shooters are always needed for the big time schools, even if their other skills are limited.

Shooters are definitely a top-priority, but BU has the luxury of being less than an hour away. It will be easier to keep tabs on him at WA, dont you think?

Wolf has no chance at getting this kid. He was the genius that told the kid to go to prep school and instead signed some BOS like the kid from VA. Corcoran blew up in April at Boo Williams earning all tournament team. He is going to go higher than BU!

Corcoran has academic and other issues and was advised to go to prep school for his own good.

Maybe the coaches from BU just messed up and didn't think he was good enough. He is going to be starring with BABC all summer and will go at least A10.
