Oh god. Tom Brennan's sister in the league!!!? What a hoot that would be.


Also, the two AD finalists were in the Final four for Maine AD's spot.

That's right, I had forgotten that the Eastern Michigan guy was also in the running. Just an FYI.....he withdrew his name before Maine made its final decision.

Very interesting isn't it? Both schools, Maine & Vermont used the same search firm for the AD position. The deal is this, this search firm signs up these AD candidates as clients in a sense. If the AD gets the job they give about a third of their first years salary to the firm, like and agent in a way.

Anyway the firm lines up four or so other candidates that are not as good and fixes the search for the candidate that they are representing unbekonwn to the school looking for an AD. Sometimes they will sign up more than one if they are running a couple of searches. Any coincidence that Stony Brook is using the same firm as Maine and Vermont? Let's see who is in that pool.
