I went to post this message the first time, and I was shut down due to "temporary maintenance."

Voy has been a pain in the ass lately, and I'm already starting to look around for other options, and have been given suggestions. I've been busy lately, but I'll see what I can do in the next few days to provide a better alternative.

What does the CAA use for CAAZone? I think it's a great site and it's VERY easy to use. Is that a CAA-sponsored site with space for posting messages?

I don't think that with the love we show for the league execs on this board we could get the league to have a multi-purpose website.

CAAZone is hosted on a pay host and uses messageboard software, as opposed to Voy and EZBoards which provide their software for free. And, the Zone isn't sponsored by the League (imagine what would happen to the Squire and Next CAA Commish, among other posters).

And, in yet another ironic twist, the Zone is currently down for maintenance, as the admins move it to a new hosting service and upgrade the board software.

For whatever it's worth, the Siena board switched to arborwood.com forums a couple of months ago and they seem happy with it.

The Don Hansen Football Gazette is changing to a forum using PHPBB, the same system that the CAAZone is switching to

I have posted to the new Don Hansen site...and its awesome. Passcodes required...easy to use and read.
