Vincent orders a surprisingly healthy meal: grilled salmon with a sides of green beans and corn. Or perhaps not surprisingly; he was never been a health freak, but he does believe in being in top physical condition for top performance. An out of shape assassin doesn't stick around very long. And top physical condition means maintaining a healthy diet.

"Sirloin steak. Walk the cow by the stove and serve it up. With, mmm, a baked potato with everything and peas." Sev catches the mildly disapproving look from Vincent (a familiar one, though he's used to it being given through shorter hair) and gives him a smirk in response. "Lighten up, 'boss.' I'm not on your team anymore."

For a moment, it's almost like old times. But Vincent turns his attention to his salad instead, and the moment cracks and splinters and shatters into fragments of sepia-toned memories.

Relieved to still be intact and maybe even forgiven, Cloud pages frantically through his menu. He hasn't paid much attention to the choices, unfortunately, being too involved in making small talk, and it isn't until everyone else has ordered that Cloud finally gives his order. "Um, I'll have the squid pasta."
