"Hey, what's wrong with squid pasta?" Cloud says, looking indignant. "Squid pasta is good!"

"Do you even know what squid pasta is?" Seifer interjects in a bored tone.

"Of course I do!" Cloud retorts. "It's--it's some kind of seafood! . . . isn't it?"

Seifer replies with a snicker, causing Cloud to pinken slightly in frustration. But Cloud doesn't try to retract his choice, and Seifer places his own order of lambchops, with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.

Cloud settles down, mumbling something about being raised in Nibelheim and not being exposed to any fancy dishes in the Midgar slums and the horrible mess food in the ShinRa military. Vincent and Sev delicately say nothing; after all, they were Turks once, and if there's one advantage to being ShinRa's dog, it's good pay and good food.

OOC: Yeah. That was short and crappy.
