Maia walks in, her green dragon Palth beside her.

*We have to learn how to belch out fire, now?* The dragon swishes its long tail like a dog. *Coolio!*

The girl nods her head. "Yup, but how? I came too late, so I missed the instructions..." Her voice trails off as she watches the other dragons. From observing what the others were doing, she grabs a bag of firestones and feeds one to her dragon.

*Are you sure about this stuff?* She eyes the stone suspiciously, then turns to Maia quizically.

Maia laughs. "Yeah, eat it, burp it, sounds simple enough. Try it..."

She gulps it down, careful not to bite her tongue or cheek. *Not bad, needs pepper. I hate salt.* She takes a deep breath and lets out a loud belch. Even though the sound was big, the flame wasn't. It came as a sputtering flicker from her mouth.

"Oh, well, we need practice, huh?" She grins.
