Subject: Different schools have different teaching approaches
In reply to: Please explain. 's message, "Why do you think she should switch schools?" on 17:12:47 01/30/23 Mon

If your dd is trying hard at current school and at home, and getting the same comments from judges over and over, it could be a sign that dd needs a different teacher. Our family knows a lot about this - our dd went from an extremely frustrating 16 months never placing in open at the old school, to placing right away after the ban, and steady, obvious progress at the new school. It can be done. However moving schools and navigating "the ban" are very hard socially and not for everyone. Shop carefully for your new school.
