It can be respected by finding an equitable solution to support that cause while protecting the alternate belief. Christians and Muslims live their faiths without forcing others to follow their truth (aside from bad actors).
Calling disagreement hate is churlish and isn’t helping. The hurt majority does care about ALL parties and wants a collaboration before it gets worse. Put it aside and help look for a solution that is agreeable that doesn’t force idealogy on anyone… and allows everyone to dance. Everyone should dance and no one should be asked to quit because of disagreement.
