There was NO REASON for him to update anyone about his health. The statement released even said that he was feeling better, so nobody had to be freaked out about him dying. Pneumonia takes a while to get over fully, plus he needed rest. Especially since breathing is pretty important in Singing.

They didn't do full holiday tours before. They do them now, but they don't go everywhere. Does that mean they need to post to the people whose towns they don't go to, to let them know? No.

Not everyone posts on social media. He has people that keep up his social media, but reporting on his health when it isn't affecting a tour, isn't part of that. They got Kenney to start posting on Instagram, isn't that enough for you?

Bottom line - Chris does not owe you updates on his health or activities when it does not affect a tour. If you need someone to tell you what is going on in their life, as somebody you know.
