Just like that story of the hookup that was shared on a mommyblog and ended up shared here. Some people don't realize that things are searchable online and some people figure things are fairly anonymous.
Even if it weren't sourced to a particular former employee there would be stories about "what some people say".
With his band mates, they are so good that they would not have to stay with him because they had no other options. The fact that they do stay with him says a lot about him and all those stories about being nice.
