WOW! The "secrets" of that night finally making it out into the open. I remember hearing about how miserable it was and how the people stopped the fire companies at the entrance. They're lucking nobody died that night. It was a scare driving through the village anyway. I remember the Clove and Woodcock Mountain roads were the safest way to get the The Lodge. I haven't been near Washingtonville since 1974 mostly because of that night but there's no reason to go there anyway. Besides, I don't want to be reminded. I know the property where G's was isn't anything like it used to be. But it's good to be reminded of some of the best times in a life-time. We had good times, thanks to George.
