Please let the coach do his job. You are a spectator (as designated by the seat assignment), Lanier is the coach. For a 2nd year head coach he hasn't done half bad. Do I question some of his decisions? Sure. But come on. Both he and the team are learning. I had problems with some of the decisions Deane, Beyer, Hewitt and Orr made as well. It's going to happen but we as spectators have to keep everything in perspective.

I think the thing that did that for me was an interview Deane gave in the TU one time (10 years ago maybe). He was asked why he pulled player "X" out of the game when he was on fire. Deane responded that yep he was playing great but he needed a breather and his tongue was dragging. As spectators sometimes we miss things like that. We also don't know what is said/done in a closed gym, etc.

If Lanier was Coach K, he wouldn't be at Siena right now. By the way, I don't believe Coach K started his career at Duke that well either.

So chill out. Relax. Win or lose enjoy the game. Eventually things will click and we'll be beating a ranked team in the big dance again. Until then just support the team and the coach. It makes life better for everyone.
