it wasnt turnovers or rebounding that did the Saints in versus the Stags ... it was a lack of defensive intensity in the second half. Dont forget that the Stags had more turnovers and the Saints had more offensive rebounds. The difference was the Stags hit 69% of the their shots, Siena 35%. The reason the Stags outrebounded the Saints was they had many more opportunities on the defensive end of the floor.

Also, the defensive pressure the Stags put on the Saints ballhandler wore them down as the game went on, much like Paul Hewitts pressure wore teams down in years past.

Saints need to bring the defensive intensity for 40 minutes and find someone in addition to Prosper to share in the ball handling responsibilities.

But that's 5 days away, Saints have a pesky Marist team first. Looks like a game where the Saints interior game should be able to dominate, key will be controlling Eppenheimer, would like to see Prosper guarding him as he has the size to disrupt his shot. Marist obviously misses the kid who got shot in a bar fight in September. (sounds like things changed quite a bit since I was an undergrad)
