Subject: Group takes another swing at casino smoking ban

This group of antis infuriates me. They know the very last places left where it's possible to get indoor sightings and their whole mission is to end it. They seem to take these "swings" with increasing frequency. Although I think the Nevada casino industry looks at them as more of an annoyance than anything.

They bring up that Atlantic City casinos had record revenue after reopening despite being smoke free. This was due to pent up demand and the same thing happened in Las Vegas with smoking. So smoking wasn't a factor. Still I do have tomput some blame on Atlantic City smokers for supporting the non-smoking casinos. They could have really made a point but instead, like always, let the antis win.

There is an update in Atlantic City. Of the two largest casinos there one now allows smoking again while the other is still smoke free. As much as this anti group wants to make it sound like the free market supports smoke free casinos just the opposite will happen. The smoking casino will have better revenue, the smoke free casino will cry to state government "we need an even playing field", the Democratic Governor and date legislature will absolutely side with the smoke free casino and permanently ban smoking inside all state casinos. Of course smokers will still go to them and within a few days forget that they ever were allowed to smoke inside them to begin with. This is all so predictable.
