It's too bad Saint Joseph, MO did pass a smoking ban referendum. Though as I remember, their local casino was one of the very few exceptions to that ban.

I think Cape Girardeau still doesn't have a ban for restaurants and bars to this day, which is impressive. Though it seems like today it's mostly bars and the one casino there that allow smoking, and that tons of restaurants there that have voluntarily banned smoking(no surprise). There was a past voter referendum smoking ban on the ballot, but thankfully local voters rejected that referendum.
