I don’t think I have much to add to the advice others have given. I do agree with Zoe that the number of spankings you describe goes far beyond anything related to discipline with a goal of modifying your behavior or even simply punishing misbehavior. Unfortunately I don’t think you’ll find any “magic words” to reduce the number or severity of your spankings.

Your concern about avoiding outside intervention is understandable. I would have been sure to avoid that also. But if talking to other family members, like aunts and uncles, or grandparents, isn’t an option, I’m afraid you’re left with attempting to have a thoughtful discussion with your mom or stepdad. At your age I hope they'd at least be willing to listen
