Thank you for that suggestion and that link, Diana. I will certainly check that out.

It still seems odd to me that what has simply developed unplanned in my relationships with my parents and husband falls into a category like Domestic Discipline, meaning that many other wives and husbands have similar experiences. I knew growing up in a small rural town like we still live in that many of my schoolmates got spanked at home, but I had hardly ever heard of a wife getting spanked by her husband until very recently. Now I know I a far from alone in that respect. Again, thanks for the note and link. Sadie
