I believe that a spanking is most effectively delivered when done in a hard and slow manner. The punishment experience begins with the preparations and does not end till the girl is removed from the parent’s lap. The punishment experience while being primarily negative does not need be all negative. The time a girl spends over Mommy’s lap, after the spanking has been administered, is still part of the experience. However, though the girl still feels the pain and the embarrassment, she once again feels the love and soothing relief of Mommy’s gentle touches and rubs and Mommy’s forgiving voice. I think the cuddle time after a spanking assures the child/teen that they are still loved. I believe the child/teen that is spanked forgives the parent for the spanking during the time they you cuddle with them. i know that is how my teens/child feels after a spanking including my 19- and 17-year-old daughters.
