Using that logic, anyone can copy anyone's idea. The raft of international patent, copyright and trademark legislation says that that's not the case. The trouble is that only the lawyers make any money out of the whole thing.

But unless you patent an idea, it's virtually impossible to police the use people make of it.

What really bugs me is people selling CC-related stuff on eBay who put links to my site, but wouldn't sell me their stuff because I happen not to live in the 48 contiguous, or whatever.
