I have a feeling that the Takky pioneers wanted as many people to have a PCC as possble. Doesn't one of the members of ccscc in japan sell Takkys or something? I might have mistaken.

it really isn't a big deal for them since it doesn't look like they care about people "stealing" their hard earned knowledges. The only problem I see is that cheap people will try to make profit out of cheap PCC's, thereby damaging our community's reputation and hence less people will want to get involved in this hobby.

While it is fair to protect your own work, it is also fair for one to let others freely abuse your work, providing it doesn't damage others. And I think the Takky pioneers are doing a pretty good job already (for their own sake).
