I believe the LQ9D011 is too wide to be centered in the display opening.

The lq9d161 does have a backlight (it's hard to find an lcd these days without one) but lacks an inverter. The LXM1621-02 by microsemi should work fine. Go to allamerican.com and search for "LXM1621-02". I believe they have them in stock.
