Subject: Cache card for 575
In reply to: Stuart Bell 's message, "Ultimate Mystic - help needed!" on 12:50:18 11/11/01 Sun

Stuart....

I just read your post re the mystery cache card for a 575 and someting came to mind....

I have a Mac IIci. It has a cache card in it. It is called "Macintosh IIci Cache Card" I see a guy on ebay has some for sale now (cheep).

I pulled the cache card out of my IIci, and guess what? It plugged into the the slot on the 575 card (I don't know what the slot is called, but looking at the 575 with the keyboard plug facing you, it is the second slot from the right).

I don't have my 575 up and running yet, but I hope to soon. Do you think it would hurt anything to plug the IIci cache card into it and see if it runs?

Think I could break my 575 logic card?
