Is that two separate questions: "Is 800 x 600 feasible?" and "Am I crazy?" ? I'll stick to the first! ;-)

Those who have boldly gone before tell us that the problem is finding an SVGA LCD that is small enough to fit the 'hole' - LCDs getting bigger all the time. There is then the question of interfacing logic board to LCD, and much useful comment can be found in a search of the Forum.

Last night, I bought my fourth CC (or 5th counting one I sold), ready done with 575 board (40MHz) and 640 x 480 screen. There were no bids on eBay.co.uk until 2 minutes before the close of the auction, and it cost no more than standard CCs normally reach. As I know the seller well, I couldn't resist.

The idea is that that will free up my existing 'non-CD' Mystic, which has a slightly 'iffy' analogue board for an LCD project. My aim is to use it with a Mystic, probably using the '575 Presenter' device (external VGA output) driving the VGA standard i/p of an LCD's interface.

So, questions:

Does anyone know if a 575 will work at 800 x 600 with the right sense wire input?

Anyone seen a source of suitable LCDs with VGA-standard input?

TIA,

Stuart.
