Subject: 800x600 mode in a PCC.. Am I crazy??

In an email I wrote back and forth to John Stocker, we briefly talked about 800 x 600 sense lines on the 10 inch CRT in a CC. Has anyone tried this? Were you succesful? 640x480 is just not quite enough for most web sites. I am really pondering the whole 10" LCD idea and a 6500 mod. I would really like an 800x600 display with a G3 500 and ethernet with cable as a second browser and mail machine. My 3 year old is already playing Blues Clues games that I imaged to the hard drive (faster than my 4x CD drive) and she is having a ball. I think I could take a year to build the next one (I have another CC waiting to be modded.) I really just need more info on 800x600 CRT or LCD ideas. I think I could cram it all in with an LCD but would really like to remove the analog board and CRT and go LCD. I think there would be enough room to shove most everything from a 6500 in the case. I have experimented with SCSI Zip drives and have found a way to install in the floppy location with only minor filing on the right lip of the floppy hole. I will let everyone know how that is going after I get that finished. Any ideas or help on CRT 800x600 would be good. I would consider trying it on the PCC I am using now. Thanks.
Scott
