Yes to all three questions. Also, it looks to me like you're going to make a Takky level CC upgrade. So, make sure you do the IP8 to S1 and cut J19 a/b mod as well.

It depends on what you mean by "rewiring the IDC".

Of course, you _will_ have to do the initial Takky Connector wiring modification. Just connect the 630 connector to a/b Monitor ID inputs as outlined in the Takky Connector Correlation Tables. Ignore the VGA caution at the bottom of said tables. But you knew that already right?
