Subject: Monitor Mod to CC?

I tried the VGA Mod to my CC with a 575 board. I was not able to get it to work. So I thought I would try to undo it. I could not find any info on how to undo the mod so I guessed. I put a wire from pin 8 to 9 and then a wire from pin 20 to 25. Was this correct. I put the CC board back in and it booted up. I just have to adjust the screen.

2. So I did the resedit method and put the 575 board back in. I am unsure would the resedit method does. When I booted the CC the screen looks like 640x480. The screen is now bigger(wider) at the bottom then at the top. I tried adjusting but it still stays that way.

Question 1
Did I do the undo correct. Should I put solder instead of a wire.

Question 2
Should I just keep adjusting the screen or is there any other thing I can do.

Thank you for any help.
