I got bored at work today, so I thought I would go ahead and install a 575 analog board in my PCC at work. I took a board and trimmed down the sides as much as possible, and I removed the front part of the rail that holds the logic board from the chassis, to accomodate the part of the board that is to wide for the chassis. I hooked it up and it works. I was able to adjust it out, but is is still to small horizontally, by about 1.25 inches. The focus adjust doesn't appear to do a lot of good, but that may be specific to this particular board, I did not test it before I removed it. The big problem I have is that there is a 1/8" border down both sides of the screen. The right side is blue, and the left side is green. I think I am on the the right track, and this could be a viable upgrade / replacement option. If anyone has any ideas, please speak up! Stuart and John, If you would like to experiment with this as well, I might be able to send you a board to play with.
