I was wondering about the same thing. I did find it mentioned on one of the Japaneese sites, but the author had not translated it to English yet. Last Thursday, I was bored at work, and I tried to figure it out myself. The analog board in a 575 is nearly identical ,in every way, to the CC II / Performa 275 analog board, except that it is wider. With this in mind, I cut the trace at pin 20 on the board edge connector and soldered a 4700 Ohm resistor to pin of the power edge connector. I also isolated pin 8 on the power transformer and soldered a wire from pin 8 to pin 10 (13" modification). I powered on the machine and briefly got video, but then I lost all video. I moved the wire from pin 10 to pin 12 and I get perfect video. I think I have succeded in doing the VGA modification, but I was unable to verify, do to a lack of time. I will install OS 8 on this machine tommorow and I will let you know if I get 800 X 600.
