OK, it seems as if I've made a mistake. The component in quesiton is _RP15_, not DP15. This means that it must be a resistor of some sort, as all other resistors are marked 'Rnxx'. I have no idea of its value as the glue is stubborn, and the only way I could get proper access to it is to entirely remove either the analogue board, or the CRT. Given that they are wires running from the end of CRT video board (glued to said CRT) to the analogue board to which they are soldered doing either will prove difficult. Anyone tried this?

Also, if anyone knows of anyway to soften the glue used in these Macs I'd love to hear it...
