This story is all over lots of news sites at the moment. Actually Alf first sent me a link to one of the news stories yesterday, but later on I saw it posted in at least two other places as well. Apparently the original video went viral. Most of the news sites (and "influencers") aren't hosting or showing the full video, but this one does.

It's all down to money in the end, outrage mean clicks and clicks mean money for the news sites or influencers or whoever.

Although, that's not why the sibling shared it online in the first place.

I notice this site and some of the others blur out the kid's face for privacy. Not that it makes much difference when his mother's name is now all over the news and you can hear his voice clearly in the video.

It definitely seems to be effective lol.

I think it's maybe also a good example to show to kids who only get a few hand smacks on the butt and think they're getting it bad.

It is definitely worth watching with the sound to hear his reaction. There is a lot of yelling, some crying, a bit of begging and I think one "yes ma'am".
