Hey Elijah, is that because you never got spanked with a paddle that big yet?

Yes absolutely, my parents have the same opinion about kids having attitude. Any time that my stepdad thinks that I had any kind of attitude, especially towards Mom, I am in for a massive spanking. And Mum encourages stepdad to spank me, literally anytime I don't have a smile on my face and do it immediately just for something as simple as emptying the dishwasher.

(except she shouldn't have to ask me about emptying the dishwasher, I already know it's my chore, so I should be doing it before she asks - or else that counts as attitude)

Well, yes that's not a small paddle. And yes, some boys that get spanked with bigger paddles, end up with big bruises on their bottoms that last for a while.

Yes I'm sure it will. Do you think that will help him think better about his behaviour?

Yes although our "big paddle" is more carefully cut (and rounded) and doesn't have those dangerous-looking edges.

My stepbro says it looked very sore.

I remembered it for a very long time.

Don't worry, you will definitely survive!

I survived really easily <3

Here is another boy your age asking for opinions on the size of his paddle. What's your opinion?
