Hey Jay very much resonate with your feeling when your Dad holds and snaps the belt together in his hands. Being lectured by Dad with the yardstick already in his had sent chills.

The part when it was real close wasnt pulling pants down for me, it was the order to bend over the back of the chair that was set up. Dad always made us boys bend over when whacking us with any implement
