 Forum member David has just posted that his dad is planning maintenance spankings for him and his sibs. That is, his parents are going to spank them every Saturday whether they misbehaved during the week or not. In my opinion this is a terrible idea. I hope that the rest of you agree. If so, then the forum has the great opportunity to help a fellow member. I would ask everybody here, especially the adults, to write a short (i.e., un-Jerry length) letter to David's parents stating your opposition to maintenance spankings, stating that they won't work and why. Perhaps suggest alternatives. By all means, stay super respectful: Don't say that their plan is stupid, or anything that insults his parents in any way. It will be up to David to print these out, maybe edit them a bit, and show them to his parents or not. If he chooses not, so be it. It won't cost you more than a couple of minutes to compose a short note and it might make a whale of a difference. What do you think?
