Although it's not really a lot different from parents who give a spanking as a second punishment if we already got a punishment from school for something. (My parents do that, or specifically my Mum does.) cos in that case we already got punished by school (detention or whatever) and the teachers give that punishment as being sufficient for what we did wrong, and then our parents give an additional punishment (a second punishment anyway). A long time ago on these forums I also talked to a parent who gave his kids regular spankings on specific dates: * every birthday * every New Year * start of each school semester as well as anytime they earned an actual spanking! He did emphasise that this was kind of traditional in his family and that it maybe wasn't a suitable way of doing things for all families. He also said that it was a tradition that his kids were OK with (after it had happened for years) and even that if his kids didn't want the birthday spanking part of it any more then he would stop doing that, but he thought they would still choose that they wanted it. Lots of families do kind of "joke" birthday spankings, some families or friend groups do "proper" birthday spankings (like a birthday spanking that's as big as a regular spanking). Alf has mentioned before about how his kids would have huge birthday spankings at their birthday parties but that it wasn't the same as a real spanking (for reasons I don't really understand lol). My stepbro has given me a birthday spanking every year since and including my 12th birthday and those spankings have always been as big as a regular spanking or bigger. I accepted it cos he also used to let me give him a birthday spanking as well (when I was still 12 I literally actually gave him a bare bottom hairbrush spanking hard enough that he cried slightly). CallumOG and Connor have also given each other plenty of birthday paddlings, I think one time their Dad heard and asked them what on earth they were doing :) Denny and his friends and siblings are experts on birthday spankings I think! For one of my birthday spankings my stepbro also got my parents involved, I ended up with very very very sore bottom.
