Ah, well.. If given the choice of it being 110o F outside or -19, I'll still opt for the 110. Heat is super uncomfortable, but cold hurts! Have to stay inside in either case. One advantage of snow, however, is that you don't have to water the lawn and risk forgetting to turn off the sprinklers and get paddled! That kind of heat I can do without, no matter the outside temp!

Just had a thought: How is your home heated? If the electricity fails in the summer here (which it sometimes does @110o and overloads the supply) the A/C, of course, quits, we can still spread a sheet on the floor and lay down for a couple of hours - it's not life threatening. Do you have a backup heat supply like a wood burning fireplace?
