 Hello sir, of course you're right that forums like this aren't the best place for parenting advice. But on the other hand, I think anyone posting for advice here, is probably already someone who sees spankings as an option, so getting information from other parents who spank can be useful for them.

Plus, most places on the internet are no longer welcoming to parents who admit to spanking their kids, so forums like this are maybe the only option if parents want advice about spanking?

I do remember Alf once said that spanking is easy so parents shouldn't really need advice on how to spank. But, I've learned from this forum that there are so many different techniques and approaches to so many different aspects of giving a spanking, that maybe that's not really true?

There are some parents that have mentioned using different punishments or different spanking methods after reading about them here. As well as some kids here who have successfully recommended different spanking implements or methods to their parents after learning about them here. So there is a lot of advice being received and acted on.

Lexan paddles in particular are one thing that gets recommended *a lot*. Which is maybe a big revelation to parents that only use more traditional implements. (I guess also a big revelation to their kids when they get spanked with a Lexan for the first time!)

Lots of people finish getting spanked when they're 12 or 13. Lucky! But there are several adults who have posted here mentioning that they still sometimes got spanked at age 19 or 20. And also some parents who have mentioned still needing to spank their kids occasionally at that kind of age.

Plus some of us older teens who haven't yet persuaded our parents that we're old enough not to need spankings yet.

So a 19 year old getting a spanking is not something that's impossible or impermissible, even if it's much more rare.

I think in the UK there is a less a culture of expecting kids to move out as soon as they turn 18, than in some other countries.

Incidentally, quite a few of the people spanked in our forum pics, are actors (amateur or professional) aged 18 or older.
