I’m a long hauler and Tuesday night around 8pm I pulled off the interstate and parked in a rest stop to use the men’s room. Only one car was at the rest stop and it looked like a woman was in the passenger’s seat. As I neared the men’s room I could clearly hear “Move your hand!” and crying. “YOU WILL NEVER SPEAK TO YOUR MOTHER THAT WAY AGAIN!!” As I opened the door in the far back at the last sink was a man and boy and the kid was getting a belt belting with his pants down.

I did my business, washed my hands and left without anything said to me but it rare these days to see that in a public place.
