You are one of the rare people on the form who have a real story to tell, and not one that is abusive. A couple of spankings a year and not the brutal beatings that are hopefully not real (but in some cases I think are). Some of the people on here...

Of course, one possible lesson is to give more vague information from the start: "I'll probably be home around 10:30 or 11...).

I am glad you don't have a be home by X o'clock or else rules, which can lead to contortions, but certainly, cell phones are easy to use, and courtesy is usually free. I don't suspect this will be a long term problem.

Having followed Laura's story, I also worry about her, as she was in a bad situation.
