 Hello all,

I haven't been active around here for a while. Honestly, I find some of the conversations kinda creepy, but some people have been supportive, in the past, so I figured I might as well give you an update. I managed to earn another spanking last night. Basically, I got home later than I should have, and then I was a bit mouthy with my mom when she got upset with me.

I went to a movie with a friend, and instead of coming home right away, we sat in the car talking for a while. By the time I dropped her off and got home, it was around 11, and I had said I thought I would be home by around 10:30. I don't have a specific curfew, but I admit, it was later than I had said I would be home. I think if I had texted my mom to let her know I was going to be a bit later, it would have probably been ok. But I didn't realize how much time had passed while we were talking.

When I got home, my mom was a bit irate. She said I should have called or texted to let her know I was going to be later than expected. In retrospect, this was totally reasonable, and I should have just apologized. But I got all annoyed, and said it wasn't a big deal, and it was only an extra half an hour. She wasn't thrilled with that response, and said that it wasn't about how long I was out, but the fact that I didn't let her know that I was going to be later than expected. She was worried, and about to call me. Once again, I should have apologized, and I probably would have gotten off with a warning. But no, instead I rolled my eyes, and said she was making a big deal out of nothing. At that point, my fate was sealed.

She said that my attitude was uncalled for, and told me to get ready for bed and she would be in to deal with me shortly. Well, crap. At that point, I realized that I had crossed the line, but it was too late, and she didn't want to hear it.

I quickly brushed my teeth and changed into a nightshirt, and sat on my bed waiting for her. I had a serious butterflies in my stomach at that point, and I felt so stupid for the way I had acted. It was only about 15 minutes later when she came in. I tried to apologize, and she said she was glad to hear that I realized that my disrespectful attitude was not okay, but it was too little, too late, to save me from a good spanking. I really hate that phrase. When you're in trouble, there is very little about a spanking that sounds "good."

She got the brush out of my dresser, sat on the bed, and motioned me over her knee. I laid myself over her lap, and she flipped my nightshirt up to bare my bottom. I swear, I will never get used to the feeling of being bent over my mom's knee with my bare butt in the air. 🥴 It's so embarrassing. She started off spanking me with her hand, but that lasted all of 30 seconds. Then she picked up the brush, and really let me have it. It certainly wasn't the worst spanking I ever got, but it also wasn't the lightest. By the time it was over, I was crying, and feeling pretty dumb (and guilty) for getting myself in that situation. I apologized again, for being late and worrying her, and for not texting or calling, and for getting an attitude with her. She was happy that I figured things out, but suggested that I come to that realization sooner next time. No kidding. Then she put the brush down and spanked me bit more with her hand.

Finally, she let me up and I sat next to her, and she hugged me for a long time.

I'm not sure why exactly I got an attitude with her. I guess I was feeling grown up by going out with my friend by myself. Then when she got worried, I got indignant - like I couldn't take care of myself. But that's unreasonable. If she was later than expected, I'd worry about her too. That's just what you do, when it comes to people you love.

I suppose I learned a good lesson. She pointed out that growing up and gaining independence doesn't mean being inconsiderate, or disrespectful, to the people who care about you. That seems super obvious NOW, but I guess I needed a sore butt for that idea to sink in.

So, that's my latest update.
