It sounds like a tricky situation. Bottom line, what is best for your daughter? I'm not a child psychologist, or have any kind of mental health training. If it was my daughter, especially because I'm a spanko and understand that dynamic, I would be too uncomfortable forming a sadomasochistic kind of relationship with a child in any case. I would seek professional help for my daughter, not for her kink, but for managing it so that she can do it safely. Whether a teenager's urges involve a fetish or not, safety is a concern that requires smart parenting, and that may take some knowledgeable outside counseling. What if the spankings from dad become no longer satisfying enough for her, and she wants to look elsewhere?

If you can spank her and not feel too bad about it, then maybe it can be an unconventional father-daughter bond that causes no harm to her. To a layman, it still sounds like walking through a minefield.
