Most feis these days are not going to spend anywhere near what you mention. I found decent medals locally for $2.39 each. There's no excuse for any feis to go to the dollar store and buy brick-a-brack for an award. It's an insult to the competitors. There are many ways to be creative but please, no junk that doesn't even appear to be an award for competition achievements.
